Careers

Our agency is committed to hiring, training and retaining dedicated, ethical and caring staff to provide quality services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities within Adams County Colorado.

Job positions range from direct care to case management, supervisory, maintenance, clerical, administrative, accounting and janitorial. Some positions are full-time, others are part-time or on-call as needed. Our residential program has developed creative scheduling in our group homes to accommodate the 24/7 nature of those locations. Most other agency positions work a 4 day (M-Th), 36 hour week unless otherwise noted.

Please follow our application requirements to be considered. Unless posted within our agency as an internal only position, all interested candidates must apply using our company application to be considered for a qualifying position. North Metro only accepts applications for open positions. General applications will not be considered.

Please note: Due to the amount of applications we receive we are unable to accept phone calls looking for the status of an application or job posting. We keep the website up to date and candidates being considered for an open position will usually have contact within 1-3 weeks on normal business operating days.

FMLA regulations require all employers to post the updated FMLA notice.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. At North Metro, our organization literally accepts, celebrates and supports difference. We are better because of it for the benefit of our employees, our services and our community. No employee or applicant at NMCS will be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, creed, ancestry, sex, age (40 and older), disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, gender identity or any other status protected by federal, state or local laws. While North Metro is committed to following this principle in every facet of employment, all employees share in the responsibility to promote and foster a favorable and harassment free work environment.

If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply for an open position, please contact: Cassie H., HR/Training Generalist or call 303.255.6590
