There are some requirements for employment listed below you should consider before you decide to submit an application.

Application Requirements

PLEASE READ THESE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE APPLICATION.

  1. You must agree to a criminal background check and a professional/personal reference check (to be conducted at the expense of North Metro). In addition, your application may be disqualified from consideration based on the outcome of the criminal background check, the reference check or both.
  2. For most positions within our organization, you must have a current drivers license and be willing to let North Metro obtain your Motor Vehicle Report to ensure it meets our standards.
  3. Most positions will require a minimum age of 18 unless otherwise noted due to the nature, responsibility and insurance requirements for the given position.
  4. An application is required to be submitted for all external candidates and any incomplete applications will not be considered.
  5. IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL, VOCATIONAL TRAINER, EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT, DRIVER, MAINTENANCE, JANITORIAL POSITION, OR A PROGRAM MANAGER POSITION IN OUR RESIDENTIAL OR DAY SERVICES DEPARTMENTS, A POST-OFFER PHYSICAL EVALUATION WILL BE REQUIRED. THIS EVALUATION IS DONE TO REDUCE THE RISK OF WORK RELATED INJURIES AND TO ENSURE THE PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEE POSSESSES THE PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES NECESSARY TO SAFELY PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB. THE POST OFFER PHYSICAL IS PAID FOR BY NORTH METRO.  THE OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT IS CONDITIONAL UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE POST-OFFER PHYSICAL.

If the above requirements are fully understood please proceed to the current job openings below where you may complete an application on that page.
