Day Services

NMCS Day Services believes that building relationships in the community should be a primary goal for every individual we serve. We work to create an inclusive environment where our groups become an integral part of the communities in which they live and work. SCC provides a wide variety of opportunities to facilitate and build relationships and natural supports in the community, while utilizing the community as a learning environment to provide services and supports as needed.  Supported Community Connections helps to increase safety and independence, develop skills for participation in the community, and work toward personal goals. You can find our groups doing many types of activities, like making a difference by volunteering, taking exercise classes at the local recreation center, or maybe playing bingo at a bingo hall with friends.

This service is for individuals who may need more assistance with their daily activities or have more intensive medical needs, as well as those who can access the community for shorter periods of time. Specialized Hab will help individuals make progress towards the goal of Supported Community Connections by working on the skills necessary for longer outings in the community.

North Metro has moved to a model of direct transportation service that allows the individuals we serve to spend less time on transportation and more time on meaningful activities. On a daily basis, we have 30+ routes to and from homes directly to activities. We can work with your IDT to help you secure transportation and help if you need RTD or Access-a-Ride passes
