Day Program Policies

We are pleased to have you here at North Metro Community Services. We advise you to review the Day Program Handbook, it will help you learn about what happens at North Metro Community Services. If you have any questions, or need assistance with reading or understanding these policies, please ask your Resource Coordinator or Program Manager.

Our Mission

It is the mission of North Metro Community Services to provide services for persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities which result in greater independence, social integration, and personal well-being.

North Metro Community Services is a private non-profit organization that serves people with developmental disabilities who live in Adams County, Colorado.

The programs at NMCS will teach you about work and teach you skills that will help you live successfully in your community.

NMCS treats everyone it serves fairly, regardless of race, age, religion, color, sex, national origin, veteran or military status, disability, sexual orientation, marital status or any other condition protected by Federal or State Law.

Day Program Checklist:

As you begin your journey with the North Metro Community Services Day Program, please take note of this important information:

  1. Know Your Team
  2. Program Manager’s Name
  3. Employment Consultant’s Name
  4. Resource Coordinator’s Name
  5. My Resource Coordinator can be reached at 303-252-7199
  6. Absent Procedure: If I am going to be absent from the Day Program, I need to call in and let my Program Manager know. The number I should call is 303-457-1001. I should also call Transportation at 303-255-6551. The main phone number at Brighton is 303-453-3310.
  7. IMPORTANT: Anytime I change my address or phone number, I need to let my Program Manager know as soon as possible!
