Tribute to Randy

Celebrating 29 Years of Service at North Metro Community Services

It is with both gratitude and admiration that we bid farewell to Randy, who retires after an incredible 29 years of dedicated service to North Metro Community Services. Randy’s impact on this organization, and more importantly on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Colorado, has been immeasurable.

As Executive Director, Randy wasn’t just a leader; he was a mentor, an advocate, and a friend. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life and create a culture of inclusion, respect, and empowerment. Whether in the halls of the Colorado Legislature, where he tirelessly testified on behalf of our community, or in quiet moments with staff and clients, Randy always stood firm in his commitment to the people we serve.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve had the great privilege of learning from and working alongside Randy. His guidance, wisdom, and unwavering passion for our mission have shaped my career and the agency we are today. Randy’s leadership has steered North Metro towards success, and his legacy will be felt for many years to come.

Randy, you will be deeply missed. Your ability to advocate for others, your vision, and your heart for our community have left an indelible mark. While we will miss your leadership, we are thankful for the foundation you’ve built and the example you’ve set for all of us. We know the future is bright because of the path you’ve paved, and we will carry your work forward with pride.

Enjoy this next chapter in life—you’ve certainly earned it. Thank you for everything.
