We need to send out a HUGE thank-you to Ropin’ Rascals & Huwa Enterprises, who sent Taleen and Cindy by last week with an amazing donation to North Metro!
Ropin’ Rascals was created as a small event to raise money for a special needs Cheer team, but it has grown into an amazing non-profit organization. The annual event is an opportunity for individuals with special needs to visit the Huwa family’s beautiful ranch and participate in all types of activities where they get to be cowboys & cowgirls for a day. Events are designed for people with all levels of needs and mobility challenges, and include things like wagon rides, horseback rides, learning to rope, and even a petting zoo. Last year, Ropin’ Rascals raised over $200,000 with their corporate sponsors, and all of that is given back to help those with special needs.
North Metro Day Program was lucky enough to send some groups to the event last year, and everyone is looking forward to the next one!
